Prince William County Police Department Daily Report of incidents and arrests for May 31, 2024

Citizen involvement in our government is common now, But 250 years ago, when our country was being organized, citizen involvement was uncommon. PW Office of Historic Preservation has organized a family-friendly day of activities next Saturday, June 8, to underscore the historical importance of the Prince William Resolves as a momentous step toward formation of the United States government.

One firefighter was injured and four people were displaced after a townhouse fire in Woodbridge late Tuesday evening.

Murder Investigation *ADDITIONAL ARREST – On Wednesday, May 22, 2024, a second suspect was identified and arrested in connection with the July 18, 2023 murder of an 18-year-old man that occurred in the 14100 block of Big Crest Ln. in Woodbridge (22191.)

Two adult males were sleeping inside a vehicle parked in parking lot in the 12000 block of Cadet Ct in the Manassas area (20109) when one of the men was shot. According to the police report, that man was pronounced dead on the scene. The other man was not injured.
