Out of more than 1,000 school partners, four stood out to earn recognition as winners of the 2015 Business Partnership Awards given by Prince William County Schools. These partners made a significant impact on students, teachers, and administrative staff.

During a recent City Council meeting, the council voted to approve an agreement with Buchanan Partners, one of the largest real estate developers in the Washington, D.C. region, to create a mixed-use development on 40 acres at the City’s Gateway property. The master plan for this site includes retail, office, and hotel space, and 279 upscale housing units.

Governor Terry McAuliffe announced Sept. 8 that Ventech Solutions, a SEI CMMI Level 3 software company that specializes in managing full life cycle deployment of software systems and solutions, will invest $1.5 million to establish an Innovation, Operations and Engineering (IOE) center in Prince William County.
