Prince William Chamber of Commerce will host the Prince William delegation to the Virginia General Assembly at the annual "Legislative Kick-off" on Wednesday, Dec.16, from 8 to 10 a.m. at Old Hickory Golf Club, 11921 Chanceford Drive near County Center in Woodbridge.

In an unique cooperative partnership between Fauquier County Department of Parks and Recreation and the Fauquier Community Theatre, the inside of the theatre building at Vint Hill is being renovated and will be ready for the patrons of FCT’s Christmas production of Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol, that opens next weekend on Dec. 4 for a three-weekend run.

It’s hard to picture what a memory chip looks like unless you see it up close, and that’s what Pennington students did on an after-school field trip to Micron Technologies in Manassas. It was eye-opening for students when they learned they were in the place that produces most of the memory chips made in the United States.

During a recent City Council meeting, the council voted to approve an agreement with Buchanan Partners, one of the largest real estate developers in the Washington, D.C. region, to create a mixed-use development on 40 acres at the City’s Gateway property. The master plan for this site includes retail, office, and hotel space, and 279 upscale housing units.
