CoConstruct, a web-based project management system for custom home builders and remodelers, plans to invest $485,000 to expand its IT operation in Albemarle County near Charlottesville, according to a news release from Governor Ralph Northam. The expansion will create 69 new jobs, whose needed skills were not specified. The state will help pay for employee training.

Governor Ralph Northam announced April 4 that Framatome, a designer and supplier of nuclear steam supply system and nuclear equipment, services, and fuel for high levels of safety and performance, will relocate its North American corporate headquarters from Charlotte, NC, to the City of Lynchburg.

Novant Health reported net income of $477.9 million on operating revenues of $4.6 billion for 2017. The not-for-profit health system also reported $794.4 million in total community benefit (including charity care and unpaid cost of Medicare and Medicaid), up from $725.5 million in 2016.
