Project management system for custom builders to expand IT operation, add jobs near Charlottesville

CoConstruct, a web-based project management system for custom home builders and remodelers, plans to invest $485,000 to expand its IT operation in Albemarle County near Charlottesville, according to a news release from Governor Ralph Northam. The expansion will create 69 new jobs, whose needed skills were not specified. The state will help pay for employee training.

Novant Health reports healthy 2017 financial results

Novant Health reported net income of $477.9 million on operating revenues of $4.6 billion for 2017. The not-for-profit health system also reported $794.4 million in total community benefit (including charity care and unpaid cost of Medicare and Medicaid), up from $725.5 million in 2016.
