In partnership with the U.S. Marshals Service, a $2,000 reward has been offered for any information leading to apprehension of the individual sought in connection to this incident.

On June 21, 2021 investigators with the Prince William County Police Department's Crash Investigation Unit obtained charges against the driver of the 2002 Honda Civic involved in the fatal collision that occurred in the area of the Prince William Pkwy and University Blvd in Manassas (20110) on April 4, 2021. On Thursday, June 17, 2021, at 6:15 p.m., Prince William County Police officers responded to the Riverwood Apartments located in the 2700 block of Yosocomico Ln. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an initial report of shots fired. Residents reported to police that gunshots were heard before parties dispersed, leaving the area on foot and in vehicles.

Virginia State Police report they have been alerted to an alarming increase in phone scams targeting convicted sex offenders. The consistent theme among these scams has been phone fraudsters portraying themselves as a Virginia State Police sergeant and threatening the individuals into paying hundreds of dollars in gift cards to the caller, Va. State Police said.
