AARP reports that the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has declared social media a “Gold Mine” for scammers. Social media scams in 2021 doubled the amount of reported losses from 2020 – and we know fraud is severely under-reported, so the real losses are likely much higher.

On March 3, 2022 detectives with the Property Crimes Unit concluded the investigation into two commercial burglaries previously reported to have occurred at the Bristow Vape & Smoke Nokesville Rd. in Manassas (20109) on Sept. 29, 2021 and again on Oct. 2, 2021 and arrested a juvenile male, age 14.
