PWC Police Report for April 25, 2022 - Suspect charged with assault & battery on six police officers

During the arrest, the accused kicked and struck three officers. Eventually the accused was detained and escorted to a rescue personnel for evaluation. At that point, the accused continued to thrash his body and resist before he head-butted two additional officers and spat on a separate officer. In total, the accused assaulted six officers before being secured. Minor injuries were reported.

Girl, 14, suffers gunshot wound to abdomen at carnival at Gar-Field HS April 15

Prince William County Police officers assigned to an off-duty security detail at a carnival on the grounds of Gar-Field High School in Woodbridge heard what sounded like gunfire coming from an area near the entrance to school. The sound caused those attending the carnival to flee en masse, according to First Sergeant Jonathan Perok, public information officer.
