The Prince William County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in providing information about two possibly related robberies which were reported to have occurred in the Woodbridge area of Prince William County Oct. 8 between about 8:45 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.

Prince William County Police said a mother was watching her child's soccer game on October 6th at George Hellwig Memorial Park in Manassas (20112) when she felt a sharp pain to her right thigh, She reportedly believed she was struck with a BB or other type projectile before she went to a hospital for treatment.

Prince William County Police reported a fatality resulted from an early morning accident Oct. 6. A 2004 Ford Explorer was traveling southbound on Dumfries Rd in the area above when the driver lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway, and rolled multiple times before landing on its roof down an embankment, police said.

Prince William County VA police department's report for Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013 includes a fatality on Brentsville Road shortly after midnight and a theft from Macy's department store at Manassas Mall.

On September 24th, detectives from the Violent Crimes Bureau arrested four juvenile males in connection to the ongoing investigation into the murder of Kenny DIAZ which was reported to have occurred at Marumsco Acre Lake Park located at 14398 Melbourne Ave in Woodbridge on September 21st.

Additional arrests have been made in the case involving the Sept. 21 death of Kenny Diaz, a member of the Woodbridge High School football team.
