In October 2015, detectives from the Prince William-Manassas City-Manassas Park Narcotics Task Force, with assistance from the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Haymarket Police Department, began investigating a group of suspects in Prince William County who were allegedly involved in the import and distribution of high volumes of illicit Xanax pills.

Occoquan Supervisor Ruth Anderson will host a community meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 9 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Old Bridge United Methodist Church,3966 Old Bridge Rd, Woodbridge, VA 22192 on the recent homicides and police activity in the Lake Ridge area.

Murder Investigation – On August 5 at 12:41AM, officers responded to the 12300 block of Pond Run Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a missing person. When officers arrived they spoke to a staff member of a private program who reported that the victim went missing at some point during her shift. The victim was a counselor of the program tasked with supervising young adults housed in the complex.
