On October 6, detectives from the Special Victims Bureau and Street Crimes Unit conducted an operation at the Wyndham Garden Hotel located at 10800 Vandor Ln in Manassas (20109) in connection to a recent sexual assault which occurred in September of 2016.

On October 8 at 5:56PM, officers responded to the 1400 block of Bayside Ave in Woodbridge for a report of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from apparent gunshots to the body in front of one of the apartment buildings. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
