PWC Police probe shooting in vicinity of two schools and Manassas Mall

On January 4 at 3:41PM, officers responded to the area of Rixlew Ln and Ashton Ave in Manassas (20109) to investigate a shooting. Officers arrived on scene and located two male victims by a wooded area near the above location.

Puppy-napping in Manassas on Jan. 1

At approximately 6:20 p.m. on Jan. 1, 2017, Manassas City Police responded to DC Pups, located at 9021 Center St, for a report of a burglary. The reporting party told officers that sometime between 12:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Jan. 1, someone entered the business by breaking a window and stole six young, small-breed dogs.

Public’s help asked in locating man, 61, missing from Woodbridge since Nov. 10

Prince William County Police Department continues to ask for the public’s assistance in locating Alan Cohee, who was reported as missing and endangered by a family member on November 11. Since Mr. Cohee’s disappearance, the Prince William County Police Department, with assistance from other local and state agencies, has conducted multiple searches of the immediate area surrounding his home.

Rash of larcenies from vehicles in Manassas city just before Christmas

Between Dec. 21 and Dec. 24, 2016, Manassas City Police responded to several calls for reports of larcenies from auto. In most cases, vehicles were left unlocked and parked directly outside of the victim’s residence at the time thefts occurred.
