An 11-year-old male was charged Feb. 27 with "knowingly communicating a false threat to bomb" after a bomb threat was found in a bathroom stall at Covington-Harper Elementary School in Dumfries. The school was evacuated around 2 p.m Feb. 26. After a search of the property and surrounding area with the assistance of Prince William and Va. State Police K-9 units, officers determined that the threat was not credible.
