Congresswoman Barbara Comstock has announced the annual and free 10th Congressional District Military Academy Day will be held Saturday, April 2 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Loudoun County Public School Administration building located at 21000 Education Court, Ashburn VA 20148. Service representatives will make formal presentations between 10:30 a.m. and noon.

Lake Ridge Lions are accepting applications for a $1,000 scholarship from qualified students. Applications must be received by the Scholarship Committee by April 15th. The Lions Memorial Scholarship, given for 40+ years, is awarded to a student living in Lake Ridge (22192) who exemplifies the spirit of service to others, a spirit that was the hallmark in the lives of fellow Lions, James Dunivin, Horace Franklin, Donald Keyes, Bill Briggs, and Gina Reyes.
