The Osbourn High School It's Academic Team will be appearing on the TV quiz show, It's Academic, on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025, beginning at at 10 a.m. on our local PBS channel. The episode was filmed on Saturday, October. 26, 2024.

Masked duo attempts to snatch boy, 10, from Woodbridge bus stop

The victim, a 10-year-old boy, was walking to the bus stop when a masked man approached him from a dark-colored vehicle. During the encounter, the man grabbed the boy without provocation, according to police.

The University of Mary Washington Board of Visitors approved tuition and fees for the 2023-24 academic year at its May 18, 2023, meeting. Undergraduate tuition will remain the same in the coming year. Graduate tuition will increase 3 percent and the auxiliary comprehensive fee and housing and dining fees for all students will increase by 5 percent.
