The Osbourn High School It's Academic Team will be appearing on the TV quiz show, It's Academic, on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025, beginning at at 10 a.m. on our local PBS channel. The episode was filmed on Saturday, October. 26, 2024.

Get help in applying for financial aid for college at Jan. 23 workshop in Manassas

Parents and students from across the county are invited to attend a workshop offering free assistance in completing the FAFSA application. The workshop will be held on Tuesday, January 23, at Stonewall Jackson High School, 8820 Rixlew Lane in Manassas, from 6–8 p.m.

Connolly sponsors bill expanding eligibility for servicemembers to transfer education benefits

Currently, the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008 allows certain servicemembers to transfer all or some of their unused education benefits to their spouse or dependent children. The EARNED Act would expand that eligibility to any active duty or retired member of the Armed Forces who has at least 20 years of active-duty service.
