Female, 13, arrested with knife on Beville Middle School grounds

On Halloween, October 31, 2024, at 2:46PM, the School Resource Officer (SRO) assigned to Beville Middle School located at 4901 Dale Blvd. in Woodbridge (22193) was alerted to a student in possession of a knife. After consultation with Juvenile Court Services, the case resulted in formal action and will be handled through the court process at a later date.

Free workshop Jan. 24 addressing ADHD and behavior management

Interested parents are invited to attend a free workshop addressing ADHD and behavior management from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 24, at Arc of Greater Prince William/Muriel Humphrey Center, 13505 Hillendale Drive in Woodbridge. Former SJHS Principal now Virginia’s Acting Superintendent of Public Instruction

Dr. Steven M. Constantino, Ed.D, a former principal of Stonewall Jackson High School in Manassas, has been appointed as Acting Superintendent of Public Instruction. Dr. Constantino most recently served as the Chief Academic Officer/Assistant Superintendent, Division of Instruction for the Virginia Department of Education. He is considered a national expert in the field of family engagement and is the author of four books on the subject.

Citizenship classes for residents of Prince William County, Manassas City, and Manassas Park begin the week of March 5, 2018, and run through the week of May 28, 2018.
