Osbourn High School team to appear on It’s Academic Saturday, Jan. 4

The Osbourn High School It's Academic Team will be appearing on the TV quiz show, It's Academic, on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025, beginning at at 10 a.m. on our local PBS channel. The episode was filmed on Saturday, October. 26, 2024.

US News & World Report ranks Thomas Jefferson & Osbourn Park among Va.‘s top schools

U.S. News & World Report has recognized Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, as 10th in the nation and first in Virginia. The high school which is partially supported by Prince William County taxpayers is in Fairfax but offers a specialized education to students from Prince William County Schools, among others.

PWC Schools bringing children’s author and illustrator-author to two county libraries May 5

Prince William County Schools reports that it is partnering with the Potomac Library and the Bull Run Library to bring a children's book author and an illustrator/author to the county on Saturday, May 5, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at both locations.

Dismissal schedule published for last day of Prince William County Schools on June 8

April 25 parent/student meeting for driver education at Forest Park High School in Woodbridge

A parent/student driver education meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 25, at Forest Park High School in Woodbridge. Plan to arrive by 6:45 p.m. The program will begin promptly at 7 p.m. in the auditorium and in the enclosed cafeteria.

Patriot HS teacher selected for national faculty for new Pre-AP theatre program

As the only performing arts teacher, out of the 75 teachers chosen, Patriot High School's Kathryn Facemire will contribute as the visual and performing arts expert for the new program currently in development. She will guide the creation of content and, this summer, will lead workshops for the teachers who will pilot the new program across the country in the upcoming school year.
