Prince William County VA School Board has agreed to a pre-Labor Day opening in 2015. The decision allows for a full two-week winter break and school finish in mid-June.

The Stonewall Jackson High School library is running a book donation project until January 9, 2015. The school library serves over 2400 students and 250 faculty and staff with limited available funding to purchase new books.

Prince William County School Board will consider two school calendar options at the December 17 meeting. Staff presented a standard calendar option at the Board’s December 3 meeting, similar to past calendars. Now, the School Board has a choice—to open before or after Labor Day in 2015.
