Parents and guardians are reminded that, by law, all kindergartners must have at least one dose of required immunizations, and all sixth-grade students are required to have a tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis booster vaccination (TDaP). Also, all newly enrolled kindergarten through fifth-grade students must have a physical in order to start school.

St. Paul’s School located in Haymarket is undergoing some changes, one of which will take place this upcoming school year, 2015-16. “Beginning in the next school year, our school will be known as St. Michael’s Academy," said Kathlerine Howe Evans, EdD, the principal.

Manassas Campus of Northern Virginia Community College is offering several short-term certificate programs in information technology that may be eligible for funding depending on family income. The courses start in September and end by December.
