Western PWC Del. Lovejoy to file five anti-data center bills

Western Prince William Delegate Ian Lovejoy (R-22) has issued a news release saying he will submit five unique pieces of legislation aimed at mitigating growing data center impacts, particularly in Prince William County.

PWC Citizens POlice Academy starts April 5; a few slots still available

The Prince William County Citizen Police Academy still has a few slots available for the upcoming session starting April 5. Manassas Park Community Center pool to be closed for Feb. 6 swim meet

Due to the inclement weather from last week, a swim meet has been rescheduled to use the pool this Saturday, February 6th, from 5:30pm until closing. The pool and hot tub will be closed during this time.

Manassas Park residents reminds residents to clear sidewalks

Per the Code of the City of Manassas Park, Sec. 20-12, tenants or homeowners of any property abutting a curbed or paved sidewalk are responsible for clearing their sidewalk within the first eight (8) hours of daylight following a snow/ice storm. Clearing sidewalks shows consideration for your neighbors and your community, a news release stated.

Businesses in PWC should file annual recycling report by Feb. 15

Sec. 22-169 of the Prince William County Code requires all businesses and non-residential properties located in Prince William County to annually report their recycling activities to the Department of Public Works by February 15 for the previous calendar year.
