Prince William County's Department of Fire and Rescue held its graduation ceremony for the 21 members of Recruit Class 2015-2 at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas on Friday, May 6, at 10 a.m. Battalion Chief Robert L. Clemons presided over the ceremony.

Prince William Board of County Supervisors will hold an Armed Forces & Memorial Day Ceremony at the War Memorial in Freedom Park on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at 1 p.m. The ceremony will honor the men and women who serve our country and remember all of those who lost their lives defending our freedom. The public is invited to attend.

Prince William County Public Schools would receive $9.3 million less than needed to cover the School Board’s unanimously approved FY 2017 budget under a flat tax plan and revenue sharing cuts being considered by the Board of County Supervisors, according to a PWCS news release.

During its meeting on Tuesday, April 12, the Prince William Board of County Supervisors agreed to change the dates of upcoming budget meetings due to scheduling conflicts.
