Fire and Rescue Chief Rob Clemons announced Sept. 19 the selection of Todd E. Lupton as Deputy Chief of Fire and Rescue for the City of Manassas. Lupton has been with the City of Manassas Fire and Rescue System since 2011, serving as Battalion Chief.

Residents of East End Mobile Home Park in Manassas are currently being notified by the property owner of a decision to close the park. Later this week the City will notify current leaseholders of a meeting to discuss the impact the sale may have on tenants of the park and how the City can help them.

The public is invited to participate in a Community Dialogue on public middle school facilities in Fauquier County with a special focus on Taylor and Warrenton Middle Schools. The Community Dialogue will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Fauquier High School cafeteria in Warrenton.
