Western PWC Del. Lovejoy to file five anti-data center bills

Western Prince William Delegate Ian Lovejoy (R-22) has issued a news release saying he will submit five unique pieces of legislation aimed at mitigating growing data center impacts, particularly in Prince William County.

Prince William's new library director is Deborah Wright, who has 14 years of experience in the Prince William Public Library System, including two years as the Assistant Library Director where she oversaw public services in 11 branches and had direct supervision of the branch administrators.

LOCCA’s Feb. 23 meeting cancelled out of respect for Michele McQuigg

The Feb. 23 meeting of the Lake Ridge Occoquan Communities Civic Association (LOCCA) has been cancelled, according to Tom Burrell. Those projects scheduled for discussion at the Feb. 23 LOCCA meeting will be deferred to the group's March 23 meeting or, if need be, to a special meeting, Burrell added.

Rebecca Horner to lead Prince William Planning Department

Rebecca Horner, assistant director of planning for Prince William County, is the new planning director, according to a news release. She replaces Chris Price, who was promoted to a deputy county executive in 2016.
