Some 28 businesses received a ‘Certificate of Occupancy’ or official letter to ‘Open for Business’ in September from Prince William County's Department of Development Services (Small Business Project Management Program). This brings the 2021 total to 280 new enterprises that are now "Open for Business," according to a news release.

New weekend hours go into effect Oct. 30 for the Prince William County Landfill on Dumfries Road. The landfill will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday and 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday – Friday.
