Some 28 new businesses open in PWC in September

Some 28 businesses received a ‘Certificate of Occupancy’ or official letter to ‘Open for Business’ in September from Prince William County's Department of Development Services (Small Business Project Management Program). This brings the 2021 total to 280 new enterprises that are now "Open for Business," according to a news release.

New weekend hours go into effect Oct. 30 for the Prince William County Landfill on Dumfries Road. The landfill will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday and 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday – Friday.

Scaffolding collapse in Manassas

Two construction workers were injured on Friday, Oct. 8 at about 4 p.m. when a construction scaffolding partially collapsed at the under-construction Public Safety Headquarters at 9608 Grant Ave in the City of Manassas.
