Colvin, Acting Commissioner of Social Security, today, Sept. 17, announced the agency will resume the periodic mailing of Social Security Statements--once every five years for most workers--while encouraging each prson to create a secure my Social Security account to immediately access his or her Statement online, anytime.

According to the results of a recent survey, county residents enjoy a high quality of life, receive effective and efficient services from their government, feel safe in their communities and receive high value for their tax dollars. Survey results remained on par with the last survey conducted in 2012.
