Time to pay Prince William County property taxes; deadline is Dec. 5

Taxpayers are encouraged to pay their taxes before the Dec. 5 due date. A late payment penalty of 10 percent will apply to any unpaid tax balance after the Dec. 5 deadline. Additionally, interest will accrue monthly on unpaid balances at a rate of 10 percent per annum until they are fully paid.
Virginia Sales Tax “holiday” Aug. 5-7 for back-to-school supplies

Prince William County to receive $21 million in regional funds for two transportation projects

Northern Virginia Transportation Authority will contribute $10 million to help widen Va. 28 between the Va. 234 Bypass and Linton Hall Road in Bristow and $11 million to widen US 1 from four to six lanes between Featherstone Road and Mary's Way in Woodbridge.

Red Cross opening blood donor center in Manassas off Sudley Rd. in shopping center with Aldi Groc.
On Friday, Nov. 22, the American Red Cross will mark the grand opening of its new state-of-the-art blood donation center in Manassas. This new facility will collect thousands of blood products each year from generous donors who roll up a sleeve to help save lives.
