Time to pay Prince William County property taxes; deadline is Dec. 5

Taxpayers are encouraged to pay their taxes before the Dec. 5 due date. A late payment penalty of 10 percent will apply to any unpaid tax balance after the Dec. 5 deadline. Additionally, interest will accrue monthly on unpaid balances at a rate of 10 percent per annum until they are fully paid.

Manassas man scratches to win $5 million prize in Virginia Lottery

When Chris Edwards discovered he’d won the $5 million top prize in the Virginia Lottery’s 50X the Money game, he didn’t jump up and down and shout.
