Open registration for Northern Virginia Community College’s fall 2017 semester begins May 2. Students may secure classes early in the registration period while the most choices are available and not pay tuition until July 24.

A new roundabout at Vint Hill Parkway and Farm Station Road has opened. The project’s next phase will reconstruct Kennedy Rd. between Aiken Dr. and Burrough Dr. and complete Vint Hill Parkway between the roundabout and Kennedy Rd. This part of Kennedy Rd. will be closed for about three months starting April 24. Signs will be posted during construction.

The now-finalized $1.14 billion operating and debt service budget funds the education of nearly 91,000 Prince William County Public Schools students in the upcoming 2017–18 school year. It maintains all existing programs and services, and gives all employees a one-step compensation increase.
