Western PWC Del. Lovejoy to file five anti-data center bills

Western Prince William Delegate Ian Lovejoy (R-22) has issued a news release saying he will submit five unique pieces of legislation aimed at mitigating growing data center impacts, particularly in Prince William County.

Manassas City Schools to participate in USDA Summer Food Service Program

Manassas City Public Schools is participating in the Summer Food Service Program July 24-Aug. 11. Breakfast (8:30-9 a.m.) and lunch (noon-12:45 p.m.) will be provided to all children without charge and will be the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Sen. Warner introduces legislative fixes to boost existing Affordable Care Act

TRAFFIC UPDATE: VDOT closes Rolling Rd. through July 13 at 5 pm to replace stormwater pipe

Rolling Road between Thomas Drive and Glen Court in Manassas will stay closed to through traffic until 5 p.m. Thursday, July 13 for stormwater pipe replacement, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation. A detour will be in place.

Congressman Wittman statement on Senate decision to work through August recess
