Governor Terry McAuliffe announced July 14 that Virginia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the City of Mexico City to formalize a bilateral relationship aimed at expanding business opportunities and trade and strengthening cultural, historic, and economic ties through coordinated joint initiatives.

Manassas City Public Schools is participating in the Summer Food Service Program July 24-Aug. 11. Breakfast (8:30-9 a.m.) and lunch (noon-12:45 p.m.) will be provided to all children without charge and will be the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Rolling Road between Thomas Drive and Glen Court in Manassas will stay closed to through traffic until 5 p.m. Thursday, July 13 for stormwater pipe replacement, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation. A detour will be in place.
