The Prince William Board of County Supervisors voted unanimously Aug. 1 to merge the Convention and Visitors Bureau into the county’s Department of Parks and Recreation as the Office of Tourism.

Prince William Board of County Supervisors voted unanimously to adopt a new ordinance to restructure the Prince William County Department of Fire and Rescue Service. The new structure includes a system chief, an executive committee, and a budget advisory and financial planning committee.

Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) at Interstate 66 and US 15 will be one step closer to completion once the new traffic signal mast arms are installed at US 15 and VA 55, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
