A regular public meeting of the Prince William County School Board will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 21 in the School Board Meeting Room, 14715 Bristow Road, Manassas. Agendas for School Board meetings may be viewed online. A schedule of meetings is on the School Board web page.

The public will have an opportunity to share their views on the proposed budget when Superintendent Walts and school finance officials present the proposed budget to the public on Monday, Feb. 12 beginning at 7 p.m. in Room 1101 of the Kelly Leadership Center.

The Prince William Board of County Supervisors has announced that the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Mid-Atlantic Section will be building its new headquarters and state-of-the-art tennis facility in Prince William County on 46 acres at Innovation Park.

U.S. Sens. Mark R. Warner and Tim Kaine (both D-VA) and U.S. Rep. Rob Wittman (R-VA) Feb. 7 asked the Bureau of Indian Affairs to schedule a briefing promptly with six newly federally recognized tribes in Virginia so that they can fully understand what benefits and resources will now be available to them.
