New PWC-funded water park for children planned to open in Woodbridge on Memorial Day weekend

Work to replace the 23-year-old children's pool at Andrew Leitch Park with a new children’s water park is continuing, according to a county government report on Jan. 19. A Memorial Day weekend opening is planned for the new facility that will include such features as Misty Mountain, Sneaky Soaker, Bloomin’ Soaker, Geyser, Solo Spurt, Gusher, Funbrella and Bubble Trouble.
