Wayne Mallard, retired PWCS deputy superintendent and former principal, has been named interim associate superintendent for Finance and Support Services for Prince William County Schools. He will replace Dave Cline, who is retiring after 29 years of service to PWCS.

Commuter and express bus routes in the Interstate 66 corridor are showing significant increases in ridership due to tolling and new service funded by the I-66 Commuter Choice program, according to a new report released June 18 by the Northern Virginia Transportation Commission (NVTC). Bus travel times are more reliable too, the report said.

The high school which is partially supported by Prince William County taxpayers is in Fairfax but offers a specialized education to students from Prince William County Schools, among others.
