Warmer weather traditionally leads to an increase of motorists of all kinds on Virginia roads, especially motorcycles. With that increased traffic comes the increased likelihood of motorcycle and vehicle interactions. Virginia State Police is once again offering its “Ride 2 Save Lives” motorcycle self-assessment courses across the Commonwealth in hopes of making those interactions as safe as possible.

The project also included replacing all dock structures and dredging the area. The docks are made of composite materials and provide ADA accessibility to visitors.

The Internal Revenue Service announced it will open its Taxpayer Assistance Centers (TAC) in Hampton, Richmond, and Roanoke on Saturday, April 13, for face-to-face help.
