Western PWC Del. Lovejoy to file five anti-data center bills

Western Prince William Delegate Ian Lovejoy (R-22) has issued a news release saying he will submit five unique pieces of legislation aimed at mitigating growing data center impacts, particularly in Prince William County.

Springfield man charged with burglaries, unlawful wounding, assault on LEO in Haymarket Feb. 4

On Friday, Feb. 4, 2022 at 10:20PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 4400 block of Dodds Mill Dr. in Haymarket (20169) to investigate a burglary. Upon arriving in the area, officers were informed by residents that the suspect, later identified as the accused, had broken into a neighbor’s home, and was standing nearby.

Jacquemin Family Foundation makes $1 million pledge to support Hylton Center

John Jacquemin and his wife, Tracie Jacquemin, have made a $1 million five-year pledge from the Jacquemin Family Foundation to support the Hylton Performing Arts Center’s building fund and the center’s permanent endowment in Prince William County.

Prince William County Planning Office has issued a news release saying it plans to host "an in-person community meeting" on the Data Center Opportunity Zone Overlay District Comprehensive Review on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2022, at the Beacon Hall Conference Center on the George Mason University SciTech Campus in Manassas. A number of COVID protocols are required.
