Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative (NOVEC) invites students in grades K-5 to enter art in Cooperative Living magazine's annual Youth Art Contest. Entries are due May 3. Art should reflect the theme, "How My Pet Makes Life Better."

To guarantee a vaccination for your pet, pre-register with the Stafford County Treasurer’s Office. The cost is $10 per pet.

My office remains committed to vigorously prosecuting individuals who engage in such reprehensible acts, seeking justice for the helpless victims who cannot speak for themselves."

The school has served as a high school, junior high school, middle school and elementary school in the Warrenton community for the past century. To celebrate the rich history of the Warrenton School, FCPS will host a commemorative event on May 19, from 6 to 8 p.m., at 244 Waterloo Street in Warrenton.

On Jan. 29, Prince William County Animal Control Officers began an investigation into an animal cruelty case that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 2400 block of West Longview Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) between Jan. 8 and Jan. 27.

Prince William Board of County Supervisors will hold a Special Meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. to review options regarding the construction of the animal shelter and to obtain public feedback on the project.

Any dog not wearing a 2020 license tag by Feb. 1 will be in violation of Prince William County Code and owners will be subject to a fine. The license fee is $10 per dog. To obtain a license, owners must present a valid rabies certificate for each dog.
