Fall arts and crafts show in Occoquan for 54th year Sept. 28-29

The Fall Arts & Crafts Show will be open to the public from 10 am to 5 pm both Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 28 & 29 rain or shine. There is no admission fee at the gate. The Town of Occoquan's free concert series in River Mill Park kicks off Saturday, May 21, with returning artist Cheley Tackett entertaining listeners with her own brand of Americana music, according to Mayor Earnie Porta.

New event: Black Music Month celebration in June

Angelina Seamster to be featured on cello at MSO’s final concert of season

Angelina Seamster, Colgan High School senior, will be the featured cello soloist performing Haydn’s Cello Concerto No. 1 in C Major. Miss Seamster participates in the Fine and Performing Arts program at Colgan High School, and has been performing with the MSO since she was in the 8th grade.

Nominations open for next PWC Poet Laureate

John Jacquemin and his wife, Tracie Jacquemin, have made a $1 million five-year pledge from the Jacquemin Family Foundation to support the Hylton Performing Arts Center’s building fund and the center’s permanent endowment in Prince William County.
