Volunteers age 30+ sought by UVA Health to test repurposed medications to fight COVID

UVA Health reports that it has joined a nationwide study evaluating two repurposed medications in the search for effective, safe treatments for mild-to-moderate COVID-19. Repurposed medications are already approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of other diseases or conditions.

$15.7 million in federal funding for electric vehicle charging in Virginia

Today, Feb. 10, U.S. Senators Mark R. Warner and Tim Kaine announced $15,745,244 in federal funding for Virginia to build electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. This is the first of five installments totaling $106,375,132 for building EV charging stations across the Commonwealth over the next five years.
