Manassas resident pleads guilty in green card case

Mauricio Florian-Polanco, a 39-year-old illegal immigrant from Guatemala who was residing in Manassas pleaded guilty yesterday to conspiracy to commit immigration document fraud, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney's Office.

During the week of Aug. 18-22, road construction work at Manassas National Battlefield Park will occur on North Chinn Road, South Chinn Road, New York Avenue, and the Groveton Confederate Cemetery parking area. Parking lot and road repairs to begin at Manassas National Battlefield Park

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Eastern Federal Lands Highways Division (EFLHD), in cooperation with the National Park Service (NPS), will begin a four-month construction project to repair and resurface park roads and parking areas at Manassas National Battlefield on Monday, July 21, during non rush-hours, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
