National Museum of the Civil War Soldier in Petersburg will host historian Dr. Christian B. Keller talking about his new book on Generals Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee whose styles, friendship and faith made them so successful in battle.

U.S. Congressmen Gerald E. Connolly (D-VA), Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA), and Don Beyer (D-VA) have introduced legislation to designate the “September 11th National Memorial Trail.” The Secretary of Interior would be authorized to designate a tour route to link the National September 11th Memorial and Museum in New York City, the Pentagon Memorial in Arlington, Va., and the Flight 93 National Memorial in Somerset County, Pa.

The National Park Service and the U.S. Secret Service remind the public that security restrictions pertinent to the 59th Presidential Inauguration have closed public access to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, through Jan. 21.
