Governor Terry McAuliffe has announced that Perrone Robotics, a developer of autonomous car software, will invest $3.8 million to expand its research and development operation in Albemarle County to add to its test track and facilities.

First Lady Dorothy McAuliffe, accompanied by State Senator Jeremy McPike, served breakfast to Potomac High School students in Woodbridge who stopped to get food between the first and second period of the day Sept. 29 as kickoff to her "Day of Action" campaign to fight child hunger. Every PWCS high school offers this Second Chance Breakfast, which accounts for a part of the 21,000+ breakfasts that are served Divisionwide.

Virginia leaders celebrated the launch of the first group of multimodal improvement projects under a new I-66 Commuter Choice program. These projects will play an important role in moving more people and reducing congestion on I-66 Inside the Beltway, a news release from the Governor's Office said.

The Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) store at 4199-B Winchester Road in Marshall will close on Friday, Sept. 22, for an expansion and remodeling project, according to a news release from Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. It will reopen Nov. 20 at 10 a.m.
