Traffic shift on Rt. 1 southbound in Woodbridge

The two through lanes of southbound Route 1 (Jefferson Davis Highway) between the Occoquan River bridge and the Marumsco Creek bridge have been shifted onto new pavement as part of the Route 1 widening project, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation. The shift began the afternoon of Thursday, Dec. 19.

VDOT Traffic Alert—Fairfax County Pkwy. southbound ramp to I-95 closed for weekend work

The ramp from southbound Fairfax County Parkway (Route 286) to southbound I-95 will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday night, Nov. 22 to 5 p.m. Sunday night, Nov. 24 for stormwater pipe repairs, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
