Johnson & Johnson 1-shot Covid vaccine available in Va. this coming week

Virginia will begin offering the new, one-dose COVID-19 vaccine this coming week, following U.S. approval. Virginia is expected to receive 69,000 doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, which the Virginia Dept. of Health officials said will be prioritized for mass vaccination clinics across the state. An additional allotment is expected to be sent to pharmacies participating in a federal partnership.

The gubernatorial campaign staff of Del. Lee Carter (D-Manassas/PrWm) voted unanimously to unionize, a first in the history of Virginia gubernatorial campaigns. according to a news release.
