Virginia Department of Transportation will hold a virtual construction update Wednesday, June 29 starting at 7 p.m. on work to rehabilitate northbound Route 29 (Lee Highway) bridge over Cub Run to improve driver and pedestrian safety and extend the overall life of the bridge. The bridge was originally built in 1954, some 68 years ago.

LEGO to build $1 billion U.S. manufacturing plant outside Richmond, to create 1760+ jobs

Gov. Glenn Youngkin announced today June 15 that the LEGO Group will invest more than $1 billion to construct its U.S. manufacturing plant in Chesterfield County outside Richmond. The company will construct a new 1.7 million-square-foot precision manufacturing facility in Meadowville Technology Park, which will create 1,760+ new jobs, according to the Governor's Office.
