Governor Terry McAuliffe June 2 announced the completion of a two-year, public-private collaboration between the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) and Ancestry.com that fully digitizes the state’s vital records. To date, more than 16 million records have been digitized and indexed.

The City of Manassas will hold a Primary Election on June 9, 2015. There will be one office on the ballot: State Senate, 29th District, for the Democratic Party to select a candidate. State Sen, Charles J. Colgan, who currently holds the seat until Dec. 31, 2015, is retiring.

Under the terms of the settlement agreement reached after mediation, the overwhelming bulk of RadioShack's consumer data will be destroyed, and no credit or debit card account numbers, social security numbers, dates of birth or even phone numbers will be transferred. The bankruptcy court approved the settlement on Wednesday.
