During the week of Aug. 18-22, road construction work at Manassas National Battlefield Park will occur on North Chinn Road, South Chinn Road, New York Avenue, and the Groveton Confederate Cemetery parking area. The affected roadways and parking areas will be closed to traffic during construction activities.

Governor Terry McAuliffe and Attorney General Mark R. Herring announced Aug. 6 that the Commonwealth of Virginia has reached an agreement with transportation network companies Uber and Lyft.

On or about Monday, July 7, Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will open the southbound High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes on I-95/395 no later than noon, rather than 1 p.m. The HOV lanes will close to northbound traffic at 10 a.m., instead of 11 a.m., Mondays through Fridays.
