Arlington Memorial Bridge closing postponed to Nov. 15-19

The National Park Service (NPS) has postponed the previously announced weekend closing of Arlington Memorial Bridge. The closing is now scheduled to begin at 10 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 15 and will last until 5 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 18.

On October 21, the School Resource Officer (SRO) at Rippon Middle School concluded the investigation into the suspicious incidents that were reported to have occurred near a bus stop located at Broker Ln. and Bronco Way in Woodbridge (22191) last week.

Gunshot heard on bus in Lake Ridge; bus seat and window damaged

Riders on the bus reported to police that a gun shot was heard on the bus at the stop located at Old Bridge Rd. and Titania Way. After the shot was heard, the driver proceeded to the next bus stop for safety and contacted police.
