OmniRide changing some Express commuter bus schedules due to more teleworking

In response to declining ridership while many people telework during the COVID-19 pandemic, OmniRide will make changes to some of its Express commuter bus schedules effective Wednesday, March 25, 2020. No changes are currently anticipated for OmniRide Metro Express, OmniRide Local or OmniRide Access paratransit services.

City of Manassas is temporarily designating several parking spaces in the Historic Downtown as 15 Minute Parking Only to facilitate Pick Up and Delivery options during this Pandemic. The public is invited to the annual Northern Virginia Joint Transportation Meeting on Monday, Dec. 2 at VDOT's Northern Virginia office 4975 Alliance Drive, Fairfax, VA 22030. The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. with an open house where attendees can talk with representatives from each agency. A listening session with a panel of appointed officials from various agencies will begin at 7:15 p.m. and will be streamed online as the panel receives public comments about Virginia’s transportation network. The listening session video recording and display boards will be posted online at vdot.virginia.gov/novatransportationmeeting.
