Residents are asked to be in place and off of the roads by this afternoon and be aware of the potential for icy spots as freezing temperatures remain through much of the week. Please keep in mind there will be a multi-day response to this storm as VDOT works to make the roads passable.

Condo building at the Moorings of Occoquan collapses Dec. 2 after crash involving tractor trailer

According to Matt Smolsky, Assistant Chief for Prince William Fire and Rescue, units arriving on the scene observed a tractor trailer had crashed into a condo building at the Moorings of Occoquan. Multiple vehicles were involved. Five patients were evaluated' four were transported to the hospital. No one in the building was injured, Smolsky said.
