Rehabbing sanitary sewer pipe on Crestwood Dr. between Ashton Ave. and Sudley Rd. starts Sept. 11

Prince William County Service Authority will begin performing rehabilitation work on the sanitary sewer system in the Manassas area today, Monday, Sept. 11. The work will take about five weeks to complete. Because this rehabilitation work is ‘trenchless’, there will be virtually no impact on traffic, according to Kipp Hanley, PWCSA spokesman.

The typical 1,000 kilowatt-hour residential monthly bill will drop by $1.55 starting Friday due largely to a $2.07 reduction in transmission-related costs, according to a news release from Dominion.
