The space offers users a ten-burner stove and oven, prep tables, ample cold and dry storage, and an extensive equipment library. The kitchen will be available to small food businesses, farmers, producers, community partners, and local folks looking for some room to create. It serves the Rappahannock-Rapidan region, a five-county region of Culpeper, Madison, Orange, Rappahannock and Fauquier.

Governor Glenn Youngkin has proclaimed August 6-12, 2023 as Farmers Market Week in Virginia. The proclamation recognizes how the nearly 250 farmers markets in the state provide locally grown food to Virginia communities, create sales opportunities for local agricultural producers, generate revenue for local economies, and help to improve food access.

Manassas National Battlefield Park was among seven national parks in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbiathat donated more than 12,000 pounds of venison to local nonprofit organizations that will serve approximately 48,000 meals to families in need. Manassas donated 1710 pounds according to a news release.
